Poquonnock Plains Urban Farm

Poquonnock Plains Urban Farm has been around since 2012. Originally a small vegetable and egg CSA the farm was dormant for years while I traveled, worked for other farms and did food justice work. Some of that work is documented in other pages on this site.

Eight years later, in the middle of the COVID pandemic and following a PhD defence, I returned to this little urban farm with a new passion for nourishing souls as well as bodies …and that is how PQ Farm Flowers began.

I love to create beautiful floral creations with an environmentally conscientious touch. I believe that sets my work apart from other local florists. I care deeply about what really matters and treat each and every element of the process from seed through design with great reverence and respect. I will always try to take extra care to use recycled and re-purposed supplies and techniques that tread lightly on the planet.
